Summary

  • Lisa Vanderpump confirms Raquel won't be returning for Vanderpump Rules season 11 despite negotiations.
  • Lisa hints that the show was successful before Raquel joined and questions her trustworthiness.
  • Lisa separates herself from Raquel and expresses excitement for the upcoming season without her.

Vanderpump Rules star Lisa Vanderpump opened up about Raquel Leviss' departure from the series, confirming the former pageant queen won't be returning for Vanderpump Rules season 11. While Lisa has kept her distance from the drama of Scandoval for the most part, she's been doing her best to make sure her business relationships come first. In the wake of her recently resuscitated restaurant PUMP moving next to TomTom, Lisa has made it clear that she isn't standing with Tom Sandoval, and with her confirmation that Raquel won't be returning to Vanderpump Rules, it's possible she's confirming where she stands with her former employee, as well.

According to TMZ, Lisa confirmed that Raquel won't be rejoining the cast for Vanderpump Rules season 11 despite an abundance of time spent negotiating her contract. "Her team texted and emailed us. We wanted to make sure she was in a good place," Lisa confirmed, explaining, "I was going to do a one-on-one with her." Lisa shared that "in the end, she decided not to do it." Lisa continued her chat with TMZ, sharing that though some think Vanderpump Rules may tank after Raquel's departure, "It was successful before her, before she wanted to join and hooked up with James."

Lisa Vanderpump Claims VPR Cast Had Hard Time Trusting Raquel

Lisa was quick to share that the Vanderpump Rules cast will be fine without Raquel, noting that she was hopeful that the former cast member would be in a better place after going through treatment at a mental health facility. She shared that the rest of the cast "[doesn’t] really trust anything she says," so Raquel deciding not to join Vanderpump Rules season 11 may have been better off. "The only thing I wanted to know was [for her] to talk about her growth after she’d been in the facility," Lisa added.

While Lisa may be somewhat disappointed that Raquel isn't coming back to defend herself, it's clear that she's not upset to see her leaving the show after everything that happened throughout Scandoval. The Vanderpump Rules boss was open with TMZ about her feelings surrounding Raquel, making it clear that though she wishes her good health, the series will be fine without her. Sharing that she doesn't understand where Raquel's coming from when she makes public statements, Lisa has clearly separated herself from the former cast member and is looking forward to the upcoming season instead.

As Vanderpump Rulesseason 11 continues filming, the show is becoming one of the most highly anticipated premieres of the upcoming season. The show has been filming for the majority of the summer months and will be wrapping up within the next month as Lisa continues with re-opening PUMP and working towards making her next restaurant become a reality. For long-time Vanderpump Rules viewers, the upcoming installment may answer some of the lingering questions they've had for nearly a year with or without Raquel's presence.
