Has Criminal Minds: Evolution been renewed for Season 2?

Luckily, we have great news! Criminal Minds: Evolution has been renewed for a new season. Tanya Giles, chief programming officer of Paramount Streaming, released a statement commending the show on its success and announcing that the series has a lot more to offer fans.

In her recent interview, she said, “There are still many dark twists and turns yet to come for the BAU this season and we can’t wait for fans to see what’s in store.”

What we know about Season 2 so far:

So far, we know that our favourite BAU team will be gracing our TV screens soon. Buckle up, because it’s going to be a bumpy ride and we need to know what Sicarius is up to. The last season ended with a cliffhanger as we tried to figure out what Sicarius and Bailey knew about a certain classified mission.

According to actress Paget Brewster, who plays the role of Emily Prentiss, the quick greenlight for another season has been because of the fans’ support. Season 2 will be darker and have twists that viewers will not see coming. The thought itself is exciting and shooting is expected to be underway by the end of April 2023.
